Install in ChatGPT

Note: Full skill installation requires creating a Custom GPT (GPT Builder). You need ChatGPT Plus, Team, or Enterprise for GPT Builder access. On free accounts you can upload files to a ChatGPT Project instead — the context won't persist as precisely, but it works.
Requires: ChatGPT Plus / Team / Enterprise · chatgpt.com
Step 01

Download the ChatGPT pack.

From your skill page, click Download ChatGPT Pack. You'll get a .zip file. Unzip it — inside you'll find .txt / .md knowledge files and an instructions.txt system prompt.

Use the /chatgpt folder from your delivery zip.

Step 02

Create a GPT and upload the knowledge files.

At chatgpt.comExplore GPTsCreate a GPT. Click the Configure tab. Scroll to the Knowledge section → Upload files. Upload all knowledge files from the unzipped pack.

Alternatively, open a ChatGPT Project and upload the files directly to the project — skip to Step 4 if using a Project.

Step 03

Paste the system prompt into Instructions.

Copy the full text from instructions.txt. Paste it into the Instructions field in the Configure tab. Click Update to save.

Step 04

Save and verify.

In the GPT preview panel on the right, ask the verify question below. You should get a specific, grounded answer — not a generic one.

Verify it worked
Ask: What is in your skill pack?

It should answer with your chapters and frameworks — not a generic list. If it answers with your actual content, the skill is live.

Troubleshooting
It still gives generic answers
Make sure all knowledge files uploaded — check the Knowledge section, they appear as blue file chips. If any are missing, re-upload them individually. Large packs can take a moment to index after upload.
GPT Builder isn't available
GPT creation requires ChatGPT Plus ($20/mo). The ChatGPT Projects upload path is available on free accounts but has lower knowledge capacity. Both paths work — the Custom GPT gives more control over the system prompt.
The instructions field says it's too long
ChatGPT has a character limit on the instructions field. Trim to the first 3 sections of instructions.txt — the core behaviour rules are at the top.

Install in Claude Code

Note: this is for Claude Code — the desktop/terminal app from Anthropic (macOS, Windows, Linux). Using Claude in your browser? See the Claude.ai tab instead.
Requires: Claude Code desktop app · anthropic.com/claude-code
Step 01

Download the Claude pack.

From your skill page, click Download Claude Pack. You'll get a .zip file named [skill-slug].zip.

Use the /claude folder from your delivery zip.

Step 02

Unzip and move the folder to your skills directory.

Unzip the file. You'll see a folder named [skill-slug]/. Move this folder to your Claude skills directory:

macOS/Linux ~/.claude/skills/
Windows C:\Users\[you]\.claude\skills\

Create the skills/ folder if it doesn't exist — Claude Code will pick it up on next restart.

Step 03

Restart Claude Code and load your skill.

Quit and restart Claude Code. Type /[skill-slug] to load your skill. Claude auto-discovers the skill folder on startup — no configuration needed.

Verify it worked
Ask: What is in your skill pack?

Claude should answer with your chapters and frameworks by name. That's the skill talking, not generic training. If you get a generic answer, confirm you typed /[skill-slug] before asking — the skill loads fresh each session.

Troubleshooting
Claude doesn't recognise the command
Check that the folder sits directly inside skills/ with no extra nesting — the correct structure is ~/.claude/skills/[skill-slug]/, not ~/.claude/skills/[skill-slug]/[skill-slug]/. One level only. Restart Claude Code after moving the folder.
Answers seem generic even after /[slug]
The skill loads fresh each session — make sure you type /[slug] at the start of the conversation, not mid-thread. If still generic, check that SKILL.md is present at the root of the skill folder (not inside a subfolder).

Install in Claude.ai (Projects)

Note: this is for Claude.ai in your browser using the Projects feature. Using Claude Code (the desktop app)? See the Claude Code tab instead. Both use the same skill content — Claude.ai Projects is better for conversational use; Claude Code is better if you work in a terminal.
Requires: Claude.ai account (free or paid) · claude.ai · Projects feature
Step 01

Download the Claude pack.

From your skill page, click Download Claude Pack. Unzip — you'll see several .md and .json files.

Use the /claude folder from your delivery zip.

Step 02

Open a Claude Project at claude.ai.

At claude.ai, click Projects in the sidebar → New project. Name it after your skill or the topic it covers. Or open an existing project if you'd prefer to add to one.

Step 03

Upload all files to the project's knowledge base.

Inside the project, click Add content (or the knowledge / files section). Upload all individual files from the unzipped pack. Upload the files, not the zip — Claude indexes each file separately.

Large packs may take a moment to index after upload. Start a conversation only after all files show as indexed.

Step 04

Start a conversation and verify.

Every conversation inside the project will be grounded in your skill files. Ask the verify question below to confirm it's working.

Verify it worked
Ask: What is in your skill pack?

Claude should respond with your specific chapters and content. If it responds with a generic answer, check that the files uploaded completely — look for green check marks or status indicators in the knowledge section. Large packs can take a minute to index.

Troubleshooting
I don't see the Projects option
Projects is available on all Claude.ai accounts. If you can't see it, try refreshing the page. Older accounts may need a logout/login to see the feature appear in the sidebar.
Answers are still generic after upload
Large packs may take a minute to index fully. Wait for all files to show as processed, then start a fresh conversation inside the project (not a conversation you had before the upload).

Install in Gemini (Gems)

Note: Creating a Gem requires Gemini Advanced ($19.99/mo Google One AI Premium plan). Without it you can still upload files to a standard Gemini conversation, but the context won't persist between sessions.
Requires: Google account · Gemini Advanced · gemini.google.com
Step 01

Download the Gemini pack.

From your skill page, click Download Gemini Pack. Unzip to access the files.

Use the /gemini folder from your delivery zip.

Step 02

Create a new Gem.

At gemini.google.comGems (in the left sidebar) → New Gem. Name it after your skill.

Step 03

Upload the files and add the system instructions.

In the Gem editor, drag all files from the unzipped pack into the knowledge area. Then copy the included system prompt text and paste it into the Instructions field.

Step 04

Save the Gem and verify.

Click Save. Open the Gem and ask the verify question below. Gemini should respond using your uploaded files as context.

Verify it worked
Ask: What is in your skill pack?

Gemini should answer with your specific content, not a generic response. If the answer is generic, check the Gem editor to confirm files uploaded and the instructions field is populated, then save again before re-testing.

Troubleshooting
I don't see Gems in the sidebar
Gems require Gemini Advanced (Google One AI Premium, $19.99/mo). Without it you can still upload files directly to a Gemini conversation for a single session — go to gemini.google.com, start a conversation, and attach the files from the pack.
Answers seem generic despite the upload
Make sure both the knowledge files and the instructions field are filled before saving. Without the instructions, Gemini won't know to prioritise your files. Re-save after adding the instructions, then start a fresh chat with the Gem.
